Overview:

Stevens Equipment, a manufacturing company, engaged me to assess its operational workflows using Lean principles. The goal was to uncover inefficiencies, standardize processes, and create actionable strategies for long-term performance improvement.

Challenge:

The company’s processes had grown complex and inconsistent, leading to wasted time, excess costs, and difficulty scaling production. Leadership needed a clear roadmap to bring operations back in line with Lean best practices.

Solution:

I completed a detailed Lean process engineering assessment, including:

  • End-to-end process mapping across production and support functions.

  • Identifying value-added vs. non-value-added activities.

  • Recommending standardized workflows to eliminate waste and redundancy.

  • Proposing automation opportunities and efficiency tools.

  • Delivering actionable documentation and process improvement roadmap.

Results:

  • Reduced bottlenecks and cycle time in key production workflows.

  • Increased throughput by improving task handoffs and reducing rework.

  • Clear visual documentation of processes enabled leadership to align teams.

  • Positioned the company for sustainable cost savings and scalability.
